Operations Support Specialist

RoboSavvy, a leading UK company based in London, specialises in the distribution of cutting-edge robots and components, focusing primarily on the Higher Education and Research markets. Our office in Portugal is conveniently located near Beloura in Sintra.


We are currently seeking a highly motivated individual, native or bilingual English speaker, to join our dynamic team on a full-time basis.


As an Operations Support Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in various aspects of our operations, encompassing back-office and sales support, as well as overseeing orders with suppliers and managing incoming logistics. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Efficiently processing incoming customer orders
  • Verifying payment details for incoming orders
  • Maintaining an up-to-date record of backordered items based on customer requests and orders
  • Establishing clear and timely communication with customers regarding order progress, expected delivery dates, and lead times
  • Providing accurate quotations based on customer inquiries
  • Addressing customer inquiries and concerns directly or routing them to the appropriate departments within the company
  • Actively pursuing payments, purchase orders, and facilitating phone-based payment transactions
  • Managing orders with suppliers and coordinating incoming logistics


The successful candidate will possess exceptional organisational skills and demonstrate excellent communication abilities. A positive customer care attitude, combined with a genuine passion for working with people, is of utmost importance. Prior experience in sales would be advantageous.
