Fonzie

Fonzie was orignially concieved as a dancing robot for UK Channel 5’s Gadget Show Live event in Birmingham NEC. The robot was to perform on stage together with dancers and the GS crew in front of a crowd of 6000, 3 times per day, 5 days in a row. We worked on the dance for weeks analyzing the moves of Michael Jackson and Byonce till we reversed engineered human dancing.

The robot is a modified Robotis Bioloid Metal GP. The head is a printed scan of Jason Bradbury. Fonzie has been so successful in engaging crowds that he has been featured in over 30 Tech conferences around the world and on TV including CNN, CNBC and Reuters.
