A vital part of Mosaic's multi-material ecosystem, the CANVAS Hub acts as a bridge that allows your hardware products to communicate with each other in real time. By using a Raspberry Pi Zero and customized version of Octoprint, models can be prepared in the CANVAS browser-based cloud software designed specifically for multi-material printing, and print files can be sent directly to your printer and started directly from the CANVAS interface.
CANVAS Hub improves the 3D printing process by focusing on two main areas:
1. Enabling direct communication between your 3D printer and your Palette 2 / 2 Pro.
2. Connecting your Palette 2 / 2 Pro and 3D printer wirelessly to CANVAS and your computer.
Simplified startup and increased reliability with the CANVAS Hub allows users to focus less on tweaking settings and more on creating beautiful, multi-material 3D prints. And all with reduced filament waste as Palette will always know exactly where in a print it is.
The CANVAS Hub is compatible with many but not all 3D printers.
