The RoboPeak RPLIDAR A1M8 is a new affordable LIDAR system for everyone. RPLIDAR is a low cost 360 degree 2D scanner (LIDAR) solution developed by the RoboPeak team. It performs the 360 lser scan with more than 6 metres of detection range. The 2D point cloud data taken from the scan can be used in mapping, localization (SLAM) and object/environment modeling.
