Compatibility

The Shapeoko 5.1 Pro 4x2 Leg Kit is only compatible with the Shapeoko 5.1 Pro, and only the 4x2 size. It is not compatible with other Shapeoko machines, including the Shapeoko 5 Pro.

The Shapeoko 5.1 Pro 4x2 Leg Kit uses threaded leveling feet to adjust for floors that are not perfectly level.

With no leveling feet, the MDF surface of the table will be 35" (893mm) tall.

With the leveling feet the MDF surface of the table will be 36" (945mm) tall.

Can I Use Casters?

Yes, you can swap out the leveling feet for casters if you'd like to make your machine more mobile. There are two requirements for the casters:

They need to have M12 threaded studs to fit into the legs.

They need to have a locking feature, or a foot that can lower during use. You do not want the machine to be able to roll around while it's cutting.

Why is it Labeled "V1"?

This is the first version of the leg kit that Carbide 3D has made and they know by now that there will be changes they'll want to make once they get customer feedback. They have no idea what those changes will be, but history tells them that this product will change over time.
