LilyPad Temperature Sensor

Give your wearable projects the ability to feel the heat (or cold)! The LilyPad Temperature Sensor is a sewable breakout board featuring a built-in MCP9700 thermistor that lets you easily detect temperature changes in your environment or track body heat when pressed against the wearer. Instead of complicated digital communication this sensor outputs an analog voltage that scales linearly with temperature (0.5V at 0 C shifting 10mV per C). Just read the voltage flowing through the signal tab using an analog pin on your LilyPad Arduino and you can easily convert the data into usable Celsius or Fahrenheit readings.The LilyPad Temperature Sensor is capable of sensing a wide range of temperatures from -40 C all the way up to 125 C with an accuracy of 2 C.Sewable E-Textile DesignLilyPad is a wearable e-textile technology developed by Leah Buechley and cooperatively designed by Leah and SparkFun.
