Electret Condenser Microphone with Washer

Add reliable audio input to your digital signal processing projects with this Electret Condenser Microphone with a stand-off washer. This specific microphone has been hand-selected for its compatibility with the highly popular Teensy Audio Adaptor.

To make your hardware assembly as effortless as possible, we have included a custom laser-cut washer that will ensure convenient, flush mounting directly to the Teensy Audio Adaptor's board. This will allow you to build clean, professional-looking audio interfaces without struggling to secure bare components.

Clean Audio Capture

This omnidirectional microphone is designed to pick up sound evenly from all directions, making it perfect for ambient sound detection, voice recording, or interactive audio projects.

• Clear Signal: Features a minimum signal-to-noise ratio of 60dB and a sensitivity of -38 ± 3dB to ensure clear, usable audio capture.
• Power Efficient: With a standard operating voltage of 1.5V DC and a maximum current consumption of just 0.5mA, it is well-suited for battery-powered and low-power devices.

Something to keep in mind about this microphone is that it does not have built-in capacitors. While it is intended for the Teensy Audio Adaptor, you can easily use it in custom applications by providing your own external circuitry.
